Finally, a Real Solution to Distractions

Introducing Sonic eRaser™ @ Home, the only professional-quality in-home Sound Masking Service available to you now, today, online. This is the only distraction-erasing, speech privacy enhancing system specifically engineered to deal with the new realities of working from your noisy home.

We’ve taken the same, highly effective Neuroscience-based technology that we utilize in commercial offices and call centers and miniaturized it for home use. Sonic eRaser @ Home is lightyears ahead of white noise and every other type of sound blocking on the market. The sound you hear literally erases the sounds you don’t want to hear. For less than $1 per month.

Working from home, improved.

Using Neuroscience, Sonic eRaser™ @ Home quickly trains your brain to filter out undesirable sounds. subtly muting the background noises that interrupt your concentration. With Sonic eRaser™ @ Home running in the background, your brain easily ignores noise that falls into specific frequency ranges, including human voices, TV, video games, outdoor noises and ringing phones. You can still listen to music if you’d like.

Imagine a noisy playground outside your window. If the glass is clear and the window is open, you can see and hear almost every detail of the kids playing, right down to the color of the slide and what the kids are wearing. Your brain stays focused on the playground rather than your work because there’s so much to see and hear (and frankly, it is probably more interesting than your paperwork). This is exactly what happens when you overhear a conversation or a TV set near you: your brain wants to stop what it’s doing and sop up all the juicy details.

But if the glass is frosted and the window closed, all your brain has to work with is a blur of colors. To the brain, the picture is so diluted and dull that your project at hand continues to remain the most interesting thing to focus on. Likewise, when a conversation is distorted, there’s nothing that draws your attention to it.

FAQ

  • A Cornell University study found that spending just three hours in a noisy workspace can trigger higher levels of adrenaline, the “fight or flight” hormone. In turn, the stress you experience increases your risk that hypertension, digestive problems, high blood pressure, and anxiety will spike. This is actually exacerbated when working at home as you are no longer just dealing with co-workers, but your spouse, kids, pets, neighbors and outside noises, infringing on your personal space for extended periods of time.

  • White noise uses a primitive technology that attempts to cover up the sounds in the room. Unless you do fall asleep, its high pitched whoosh actually becomes quite annoying to most folks after a while. The hard truth is that white noise does a poor job of masking the human voice and household sounds, so unwelcome conversations and noises are still audible.

  • Unfortunately, laptop speakers are not capable of outputting the lower frequencies required to match the whole range of human speech. We have found that a good pair of headphones will work in a pinch!

  • Aim the speakers directly at you if you are the only person in the space that you want to protect. If you want a more general form of sound masking for the entire room, elevate the speakers to around 3-4 feet from the ceiling and point them up, so the sound is bouncing off the ceiling. If you have only one speaker, point it at the center of the room. If you have more than one speaker connected, point them straight up and keep them at least 10 feet apart.
